Walking into this project I was timid with how the outcome will be since this is my first time making a Double Exposure picture. I decided to use flowers that I see every day when I park my car outside. At first I wasn’t sure what the second picture that I wanted to overlay the flowers with. When I walked into my apartment I saw my little brother looking out the screen door knowing he can’t go outside due to the quarantine. Then a lightbulb popped in my head and I quickly got my camera and captured him looking outside. I decided to do one black and white to demonstrate the sadness I know a lot of people feel in wanting to go outside but can’t. The second picture I wanted the color of the flower to pop out because just like the brightness of the flower, I try to find the brightness of staying inside due to the quarantine. Overall, I like the outcome of both pictures for my first time attempting to make a double exposure picture.
