Lines can be quite an interesting element of design in a photograph. It guides your eyes into a curiosity of where it is going. I took this picture in Cardiff-by-the-Sea on a trail leading to a shopping center, beach, and park. Most importantly it leads to an adventure of exploration with nature and new people which also includes cute dogs!
Light is an important element of design to photography that exposes brightness to every picture. When I took this picture the sun was bright that made the trees look perfect, except for the clouds that seem to hide when taking the picture. However, captivating the essence of this picture and editing unfolded the beauty of natural light that paints a scene of calmness.
Texture can be see in everyday objects such as nature. It brings out the shapes, colors and tones depth that otherwise is just a quick glance to most individuals including me. We see trees everyday and therefore, looking closely to this tree bark I notice the different texture it has such as the different color, rough surface, and how each tree bark has it’s own shape.
Pattern is an element of design that has a natural repetition of shapes and lines. When I took this picture of this plant, my eyes guided me towards the center of the plant and then expanded towards the rest of it. The overall pattern of this plant creates an eye catching interest.
